  On behalf of the supporters, committee members and volunteers I would like to welcome each of you to the 29th annual 2023 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup supported by JAPAN AIRLINES.This championship which began in 1992 has involved into the premiere Junior Golf Team tournament in the world. 20 teams earned their way to Aichi, Japan where they will compete for the coveted World Junior Golf team title.

  This year’s international tournament will feature competition at the highest skill levels from both boy and girl golfers. The tournament committee is very excited about hosting 8 girl teams along with 12 boy teams each of whom will be striving to win the coveted World Team Championship in Junior Golf. Both South Africa and Japan will be back to defend their titles.

  In addition, to the competition, the international executive committee encourages the participants to interact with their fellow players who come from such diverse backgrounds and geographical locations. Over the years, there have been numerous friendships which have been established during this event. These valuable relationships will be beneficial to the players throughout their chosen careers.

  We are again fortunate to have Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course serve as our host. The golf course and country club facilities are top rated and a perfect venue for this World Championship. Furthermore,I would like to give much thanks to the volunteers, committee members, international rules officials,supporters and staff of Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course. Their countless hours of preparation make this event very special.

  In conclusion, I would like to congratulate each participant for having been selected to represent their country in this international competition. I wish each of you the best success in this year's tournament.
