15 national boys teams and 9 national girls teams,
who won the qualifiers held in over 70 countries and regions across the six continents of the world,
came together to compete in this world championship to be the best in the world in honor of their country.
Look back at movies of the 2019 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup Supported by JAL that marked its 27th year.
On the final day of the tournament (Friday, June 21), the results were: Boys team winners were South Africa (-41), Japan (-30) in 2nd place, and Spain (-29) in 3rd place.
The boys individual winner was South Africa’s Samuel Simpson with -18 to par.
Girls team winners were Japan (-18), Mexico (-15) in 2nd place, and the United States (-14) in 3rd place.
The girls individual joint-winners were Cory Lopez (Mexico), Rose Thang (United States), and Cassie Porter (Australia) all with -11 to par.
The 2019 TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup Supported by JAL has been held for the purpose of allowing junior golfers from all countries to compete for the honor of their country, and to support international interaction between players who share the same goal.
The many sponsors, including Toyota Motor Corporation, and staff at the Sanshu Asuke Yashiki museum helped to provide the best possible hospitality to players participating in the tournament.
